Hi, My neighbour has a 1956 5.5 hp johnson outboard motor and he wants to be sure of the gas/oil mixture, anybody who knows this would be a great help. paulw18@sympatico.ca<br /><br />Thanks

24:1 87 octane gas to TC-W3 rated outboard oil.<br />(forget about the SAE 30w if indicated)<br />Spark plugs (seems to be the next question): Champion J6C gapped at .030" - available from Canadian Tire. J6J has been replaced by the J6C.<br /><br />Welcome to Iboats!
