I was just curious if anyone had heard of or tried to make there own female pressure connector from the tank hose to the motor male connector fitting. I'm having a hard time finding one and don't want to spend a whole lot on buying one if possible. I really want to keep the pressure line setup
original and don't really want to do the fuel pump conversion
if possible. What if I ran fuel lines from the motor to the tank with two of the newer style single line tank connectors
Or something similar?

Don't know if this is what you mean, but I have found out that on the engine I can use Air Hose connectors you can get at pro hardwear stores for outboard or any gasoline connection. They hold gas and don't leak. 80's Suzuki's connectors are the only bad thing about those outboards. They are metal and they must have made many different sizes because few of them seem to fit. First thing I do is change them out to common OMC male and female connectors if I have any from old outboards or I go to the air hose ones that are only about 5 bucks for male and 5 bucks for female.

Thank you thatone123 that sounds like that would work pretty good. I will keep that in mind and might end up doing that
