1954 johnson qd15 fuel/oil mix

Got this motor from an older guy. he said he only used quick silver oil in this motor since he had it, and mixed 50/1 he has had the motor for years. should i continue this mix or go back to factory mix. if so what is factory mix.

Hopefully he did not run it much, that mix is much too lean. 24:1 is what I would personally run minimum.
