Got it running alot better by cleaning up the points, they were black. Still think my low needle packing is leaking, but it will idle alot slower than it was. When I ohmed my coils I got 3500 on each. Is this a good reading on these coils?
I have one of those little beasties but have never really worked on it much. I do have the parts manual for it if you PM me your email address I can send it.
Oh and to answer your question, no idea what the resistance of the coils should be but if they're the same and you're getting good spark, I'd be happy.
