Water/exhaust from the ports is normal and fine.

Do you have grease in the lu or oil>?

Re: 1946 td-20

is there any seals right there?

i used grease .... corn head grease witch is pretty much very similar to lubriplat 105
made for leaky non shift irrigation gearboxes

but it seems to seep right there i havent taken it all apart i have read if it isnt broken dont fix it with these old motors
i dont want to open it all up and not be able to get it back together and i dont know how to get all the lower componets removed from the power head

the leak isnt bad but it is a concern it will let water in if it lets grease out

Is that right beneath the exhaust ports where it is leaking? Are you sure it is the cornhead grease?

I have heard great things about that grease, alot of the aomci members are switching to it over the 105. I have not tried it myself yet.

the 2 small exhaust ports are on the other side but it could be going down and around the top lip of the lower unit?

here is where all the oil/grease/exhaust residue or something is?

im curious if there are any type of seals in that area of the shaft?
