I just got this boat in trade and know nothing about boats (I do work on classic cars as a hobby so I am definitely mechanically inclined). The motor starts and runs great but it will not engage the prop when I move the lever. With the engine off and in neutral the prop spins freely, when it is gear (forward or reverse) it sounds like it is engaged and the prop has some resistance on it. No clue as to where I would even start so any help would be fantastic!
