I sort of asked in another thread but haven't gotten a great answer. I have a 1990 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy. The trolling motor got stolen, but I need to know what size probably came on that size of boat. I have a few pics if I can upload them, but it doesn't show the size. It was a MinnKota PowerDrive, foot operated. I know I won't be able to buy the exact size/model as it was likely 20+ years old, but I need to know what would be comparable for replacement cost insurance policy.
I bought this from a neighbor, who basically inherited it from his father, who bought new, but he can't recall. He thought 30 some pounds of thrust, but when I check Cabela's they all seem to be over 60 for a pontoon. Add to the complication, I had made a custom bracket for a winch anchor that mounted to the trolling motor mount, so when not using the troller, we had an electric anchor.
