I am new to this forum and would like to say hello to all the members. I purchased a basket case 1986 Winner 18.5' center console about a year ago and began a restoration shortly thereafter. I am posting a few pictures from the day I drug it home. If any members would like to see updated pictures throughout the work I'll be happy to post them. Thank you for your time and hope to hear your input and experiences with your Winner boats.

As long as the foam is dry and not water logged.----They still did have wood in the transom I think.

The foam in the stringers was not waterlogged and the transom seemed solid (banged the hell out of it with a rubber mallet and it sounded dense as it should)

Gave the inside a good cleaning. I opened up the rear hatch and noticed the previous owner had removed a through hull transducer with a saw😡

What is in that floor hatch behind the seat? Bilge pump? I haven’t opened it yet because I don’t see the screws deep inset I think

After 20 monthstainless mine is pretty much done. Good luck with yours.

Mine had a through hull transducer installed in there but it's really just a storage area. The bilge pump is further back accessible through the round hatches

Appears to me you took on a monumental task and are kicking butt I too am a new WINNER owner and the name plate is gone so not sure of the number of persons or the weight that can be carried nor the size of engine it will bear legally. And help in those areas appreciated. I did remove 25 gallons of bad fuel (water) due to bad cap on fill opening.

I believe the tag says 6 people (weight unreadable on mine) and max H.P. of 175 but I've seen 200 on several others. I have a Johnson 115 on mine and it's ok/ adequate not a spend demon.

The fuel tank should be a 42 gallon plastic tank if it's the factory one.
