Was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best way to lay down 45 degree KNIT in 17oz.?
I found this product from Fiberlay (Seattle, WA), it can be viewed on the their website:
www.fiberlay.com -(click) - Products - Fiberglass Fabric - Page 10
Wanted to use this as it looks to have good strength, saves time, and saves resin.
My only concern is how do I seam (joint) the layers:confused.
Idea1: Butt them together and go over the seams with 4" 1.5 oz CSM tape,
Idea2: Overlap them by 3" or 4"
In both ideas, I was wondering how do I fair/finish it out so not to leave a large bulge where the seams are?
Any words of advice are greatly appreciate.
(To Don S, I hope this post is in the right space)
