Hello.I noticed last weekend that the engine overheating alarm went off and this occured at almost 2800 to 3000 rmp but not on plane yet my friend took off like that without planing the boat.I stopped the boat on idle in neutral and alarm stopped and temp went down.I then drove the boat on plane like i normally do from 4000 to 5000 rmps and no problems.I beleive it;s not an overheating issue impeller is new and thermostas.I did drive the boat like he did without going on plane and it really just creates alot of air i beleive and impeller is sucking air.
