Hey Johnbottsr, post a picture of your splashwell area. For all you other folks, his splashwell area looks like it was added on as an extension of the transom. Looks like is is factory, but I looked closely and it's hard to tell. Anyways, the bottom of the splashwell extension sits higher up than the bottom of the hull. When cruising around, the cavitation plate is so deep in the water, you can't see it. Plus the rooster tail is pretty pronounced. It's almost like the water is hitting the front of the upper part of the leg. The cavitation plate is sitting pretty much even with the bottom of the hull. I'm thinking that it needs to be raised up at least even with the bottom of the splashwell extension.
