water temp alarm light on -what color is the wire to the temp sensor and do these wire go into the power pack connections or under the same cover. reason: I had checked the power pack, stator, and trigger because I didn't have fire and did not have this problem until I put it back together. The fire problem was my kill switch. I have a water gauage on the motor and it shows water pressure-- plus this light is on before it can get hot. Is there a wiring digram that I can get for this motor.
thanks

The wiring diagram and everything else you need to know about your engine is in the OMC shop and parts manuals - a must in my book if you are going to work on it yourself.

I appreicate the reply and I did order a Seloc manual this morning. I should have it in about four days.
I had a firing problem first and got that corrected -- then the water temp alarm came on, but it was not hot. Opened the cover where the powerpack is and the wiring connections and found a wire almost broken in half --probalbly grounded to the stud-- I repaired that wire and now I'm back to no fire. the wire that was cut is brown ( tan ) and it is with a yellow/red : one side goes to the powerpack the other side goes under the fly wheel ( I think ) .

Is that any help to help me.
thanks
