Hi, I have a 2001 merc saltwater 125 hp. last week i took the boat out for a trip. The engine primed up as normal, i left the marina and headed out to open water. I opened her up to just over 400rpm and cruised at that for around 10 mins. Engine began to splutter so i looked back at the primer bulb to find it was empty and sucked in. i put her into neutral and went back to try re prime the bulb. it took quite a while to get her to fill back up. once she did i took off again and ran for rest of the day without a problem. when i got back i changed the fuel lines for fresh lines and replaced the primer bulb and made sure all were tight. however when out yesterday again the same thing happened. Has anyone any ideas. Faulty diaphram in fuel pump is what i'm thinking now????
