120 4cylnder omc starter wiring

hi, I picked up 79 18' fiberform with a 4cylinder omc motor and oooutdrive. it didnt have a starter. I got a starter and and I have 2 small wires one white with a red stripe that has power when I turn over the key all the way, and another dark colored ( think brown or purple) with a black stripe, that seems to have constant power. there are 2 little post on the starter. one has and S and the other has an R. I dont know wich goes to wich. I seem to be getting power to the distributer but no spark from the plugs. Ive got a new cap rotor and points but I dont know the firing order either. if anybody has any info that would be terrific.

Sorry about that I cut off one wire where it says RED, goes from solenoid to starter.
