Believe me, plan A is still finding a shop to fit these for me. I’ll only look for a plan B if Ive run out of options.
I just enjoy learning as much as possible about this motor and possible alternative options for moving the job forward.
Q. When torquing the pinion nut to find the shim size with the omc tool, should I use the old nut or the new one? I’ll obviously have to remove it once more to get the drive shaft back into the case when I reinstall. Didn’t want to torque the new nut to measure in the tool, take it off, reinstall and torque again and possibly skew the shim size.
