Thunderbolt IV problems, will not run above idle when hot!

I have a Thunderbolt IV ignition, 1987 V8 5.7L. After cruising for 20 minuets or so, it bogs down. Idles fine, but wont go above 1200 RPM. After I shut the engine down and let it cool, it runs fine. I'm convinced its in the ignition system, notably the TB module (box on the exhaust manifold)...

My oil level did rise which confirms its not just condensation. I had low compression and water in oil problem before which was the reason for the rebuild. I found...

    Merc 260, Cracked Heads, Options???

Weighing my options, maybe you guys can help. Both heads are cracked. Block & crankshaft look OK. I'm on a budget, but will spend money to get it set up right. I'm leaning towards getting fully dressed rebuilt heads from some of the web sights I've seen on the net. -Can anyone recommend a good...

    How do you fix Prop?

I have a small tear in a 3 blade aluminum prop. Its on one blade and about 3/4 inch long. I enjoy doing my own work and would like to attempt a repair. I figure, use heat and tap it back into place. I would think mabey some plumbers solder to fill the gap and file/sand to shape. This prop is...
