    You guys are all amazing people. I will buy that exact kit, I will check all that too, I’m also going with a 1409 for the carb as the quadrajet on it is junk and I’ve never been a fan of them. Thank you!

    Everything is already sent back from the machine shop and the 536np are already on the rods. the advice given I think I will go regular flat tappet, I just need to know what cam would be best as far as specs so I can order the cam and lifters

    The pistons are .030 536np and as far as the heads go. They are all original stock from what was on it, other than some valve seals and ground valves

    Okay the machine shop had kept the original cam, possible to get the specs? And I wanted to put rollers in for dependability

    Hey I’m rebuilding my 1992 305, was looking into swapping to roller lifters. Wanted to know what cam lifters and carb is recommended it’s a 305 bored 30 over and has thru hull exhaust. It’s a 19ft crown line bow rider
