    Thank you for the help I will mess with it this weekend. When I shift into gear I hear shift clunk. I am assuming it's maybe my idle rpm is high, cone clutch engaged in high speed. And cable needing some adjustment.

    Thank you. So if the throttle cable is removed and the boat idles normal. Adjust or replace throttle cable. And if nothing changes what else should I look into. Thank you for the quick reply.

    Hey I'm having to adjust my cable. Do you have measurements of the pinned barrel to the center hole to hole? Is it 7 or 7 and half inch?

    Ah I was looking at the alpha unit. Page 10-38. Manual 3208. So the clunk is not normal. I need to adjust my cables correctly. What about my idle rpm 900?
