    I haven't seen it yet as it is one I am considering buying. I asked him about the entire wood transom. He says the metal is sandwiched between wood. Not sure why it was done this way. I definitely want to check the integrity back there.

    Here is a picture of the other side for comparison. Appears to be the original seam in the steel on both sides.

    yes I noticed that transom in the photos as well. I do not know if it is normal for it to be solid wood back there? I assume the metal is sandwiched in between but it does look odd.

    Ya I do not believe this has the star logo. I wish I could figure it out so I could find original photos to restore it to. Yes I have seen the old vintage ads as well

    I am considering buying this as a fishing boat. Don't know much about it other than it is stainless steel. I am thinking based on a bit of research that it may be a Starcraft from the 50's? Anyone know?
