    pulled flywheel have this clear brown almost epoxy looking that looks like wet ( but dry) machine oil coating and running everywhere on stator. my ohm test showing stator grounded except one coil.     Replaced power pack and same result. Immediately after stall if you start it kills itself in seconds. Wait 2 minutes it runs for 45 seconds the shuts down.     Fuel solid and have fire won’t crank

    OT 820216 2004 EL 25 hp Mercury. Out of nowhere wouldn’t crank on lake after running perfect. Noticed the pee hose had come loose on bottom and two days before notice no charge going to battery. Should I start with rectifier ?
