Well had a hunch about fuel but that kills it. Total ignition shutdown means most likely before coils and you have replaced everything else so one would point to the stator. Heating up and shutting down.

Now you know how to test so hopefully it pans out.

Yes sir fingers crossed. Going to pull fly wheel in about 30 minutes when I get home take a look at the stator. I’ve already ordered one should be here Thursday. I’ll let you know what I find out and I appreciate the help. For some odd reason I’ve kind of found myself enjoying this and I’m learning quite a bit as it’s forced my hand to read, buy Manuel‘s and comb through forums. All of that should be mandatory anyway

pulled flywheel have this clear brown almost epoxy looking that looks like wet ( but dry) machine oil coating and running everywhere on stator. my ohm test showing stator grounded except one coil. New one will be here Thursday. rectifier - should I replace? Test are in specs but I have new power pack, coil packs, stator, optical sensor, plugs and plug wires, pissed of wife and two new blue top batteries. Will update hopefully Thursday.

I say keep the old rectifier but get rid of or replace the pissed off wife. They cost more!!!

I really want to take the time to thank you gentlemen for walking me through the proper way to troubleshoot and approach the problem. I’m back up a rolling with a better understanding for how things work and realizing the importance of the fact everyone should have at the least basic knowledge. I’m trying not to think about the “extra” two bolts and three screws that look like they serve a purpose!!! Thanks all!!
