    Accelerator pump cover question

This is exactly how the new diaphragm looks like. The old one didn't have the grey gasket on the top, odd Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to the linkage spring. I read somewhere it's supposed to be barely touching the lever arm, but mine seems tight. The engine seems to be running ok...

    Accelerator pump cover question

Holley 2300 GLP-E Noticed small leak from cover, read it's good to switch diaphragm. When I took out the old diaphragm there was nothing in between the diaphragm and metal cover In the kit the new diaphragm has a sort of thin rubber fabric. This fabric sticks out when I put the cover back...

    RPM after serpentine belt change

I was hearing squeeking sounds from engine, after changing belt sounds are gone, took it for test drive, it seems to be running ok. New belt is 10mm (1cm) shorter than old one. This was because of feedback from other owners. The rpm gauge seems to misreporting, showing 5k, 6k when its not...

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

Makes sense but my temp of my boat is a lot better now even at high throttle once I fixed the leak. The short pipe is a good idea, I will try that.

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

To clarify when its dry now I ment the belt, because of the leak it was kept wet because of the leak so it was less noticeable I think. Now because the belt it dry it sounds louder. Battery is brand new.

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

I found a video I made prior to touching the impeller and the squeeking was already there looks like, so its not the impeller change causing the sound. It just seems louder now probably because it's dry now.

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

I just opened the 4 housing bolts, visually inspected the impeller (didn't take it out), cleaned the gasket, put it back, put some marine lube on the shaft, and tighten the bolts as they seems to be loose previously. The boat wasn't used for the last 4 years. Would tightening the bolts too...

Sqeeking sound from belt after impeller inspection

GLP-E 3.0L I noticed small leak coming out of the impeller enclosure so I opened it up inspected and put it back together. The leak stopped. Now there is a loud sqeeking sound coming I believe from the belt or possibly something else in the front of engine. - what could it be? - any relation...

    Don't see fuel in jets

That's a good point, if I disconnect the metal line going to the fuel bowl and prime with the throttle handle, should I see fuel coming out of the metal line? Or is there a better way to test?

    Don't see fuel in jets

Can I take only the fuel bowl out to inspect and clean it out or do I need to take out the entire carburetor assembly? I want swap the gaskets and clean out of the needle and fuel bowl.

    Don't see fuel in jets

GLP-E Holley 2300 First time starting boat in a long time, this time with new fuel, oils etc . Press throttle, the other circular button then prime the engine like 3 or 5 times but I don't see any fuel shooting out of the jets in the carb, in the throat, which are below the flame arrestor, so I...
