    You can see from these pics that the ladder is mounted just at the water line on these boats. In 1997 they mounted them directly in the transom causing rot issues if not properly sealed.

    Thanks, It's a 1996 Larson SEI 194 with 356 hours. The previous owner had it stored indoors its whole life.

    I don't have any with it off, but here is where it is mounted. It's not mounted through the transom, but rather through hull with wood blocks for support.

    Hello, I am trying to get access to my swim ladder bolts, but there is a carpeted false wall. It doesn't appear to be screwed to the transom, but it will not come loose. is this panel glued in? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
