I'm not sure where to hook up the wire for the Shift Interrupter Switch. I bought the boat with a waterlocked engine and all the electrical connections had already been disconnected.
I believe since I have the EST ignition it needs to be hooked up to a 12v source?

I recently bought a 1990 Maxum 2150 that is in exceptional condition except for the hydrolocked 4.3L Mercruiser engine. I have a running 4.3L OMC engine sitting in my garage from a recent rebuild attempt to a Donzi hull (I quit once I found the Maxum).

Short version of the story: Never should have bought this "Lake Ready" boat... especially at a lake ready price! Anyways... I'm trying to move on and I need to decide what to do. I had a leak between the Gimbal housing and the Transom.
So I assumed I had a rotten transom... got the engine...
From what I'm reading this looks like the y-pipe is cracked/has hole/bad seal? It leaks into the boat when I back the trailer in and it leaks from the boat when I fill the bilge up. 1990 Donzi DL190 with OMC 4.3L and cobra out drive.
