    1972 Checkmate MX-15 Rebuild

Thanks Micky, I found a few more runs while pulling the tape, Ill have to wet sand and buff those out when it cures. I didn't have a fast reducer on hand for the temps today, so it's slow to dry. Hoping to start the accent stripes next week.

1996 Century Boats 1800 Center Console Refit and Modernization

I'm leaning toward the MK Terrova 24v 54" or 60". The bow sits low in the water, like 24", so I don't need a real long leg, and I can't fit too many more batteries.

I got the Snow White top coat paint in. The fairing is pretty much done, just have to re-tape everything again. I guess I'll get off my azz and shoot it this weekend, weather permitting.

1996 Century Boats 1800 Center Console Refit and Modernization

So back in July, I realized the mechanic where I keep the Century don't want to work on 2 strokes anymore, So I tweaked it myself back then, It turns out the Yamaha guy at the lake set the idle in the shop, after the timing advance was re-set. After I played with it for a while, while under...

Seeking advice on seemingly large hull/structural repair! Help please! 1979 Marquis Catalina.

Flipping a boat is surely optional, but it does help dial in a hull, and makes things easier, but mostly beneficial to sport boats., plus the pics are cool ;)

    Adding ballast to the bow?

A lot of 2 stroke to older 4 stroke conversions face that problem, the scuppers collect water. The newer 4 strokes weight similar to the old 2's. More flotation in a bracket helps, but turtling can still be a problem. Throw some sand bags in the bow, and see if it helps, but raising the stern...

    1972 Checkmate MX-15 Rebuild

79 degrees out today, dry and sunny, the paint went on well. The color is less green than the transom shows, in dull light, the hull sides show the tru color, which I'm happy with. Now I cna put on any below the rub rail hardware, and the trim tabs, then work on the interior and cap...
