    Kinda figured so I’m gonna drain oil and leave drain plug out and then run water through where the thermostat lives and see if any water comes out oil pan drain plug hole. Also contemplating dropping oil pan for a visual inspection.

    I ordered one of those but they have the large base and I need the small base.( intake to carb bolt pattern) I believe when mercruiser went to the TKs system, they started using the large base and that seems to be what everyone’s cloning

    The inside of the carb is pitted up real bad and there still white powdery crusty crap in carb I can’t get out of passages but can see. Just feel it’s a better option to get a different carb. Here are photos of the outdrive.
