i started my transom demo today. pretty bad shape. i noticed that its 1.5 inches thick but it is a single peice of plywood. would two 3/4 sheets do the trick. also, the old one will not slide out of the channels to use a template. how can i pull it out without tearing it all to peices. any ideas...
