    transom cap

    How far down do i need to cut to take transom cap off? Would 1" on inner and outter skin be enough to get at rotted wood between the skins? Thanks.

    hull id other than rear of boat

    Is there a hidden hull id that the manufactures put in other than the one on starboard rear of boat? Boat has had transom repaire work done and the id tag screwed back onto transom. This is on a 1995 nitro. Thought that year should of had id embedded on right rear corner below rub rail but...

    Question about changing prop size

    I have a 180f/s nitro with a 1977 175hp evinrued running a 14.25x23p alum. prop. The boat runs at 5550 wot at 54mph on gps. Thats with 20gal of gas 2 batts. myself and the wife not alot of weight there. Im thinking of switching to a s/s 13.25x25p 4 blade. Would that put me more in the 4500-5500...
