Everyone says "pod it". After pricing that out it looks unreasonable. The pod coming in between $3K minimum and more like $5K for quality work, then a used 200 hp at between $10K - $15K....not really worth it at...

I had a young helper applying teak oil to my exterior rub rail trim. He was sloppy, (I was away, not supervising him), and he had the oil running down onto the old gelcoat.
Should I use acetone, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, etc to try and remove oil in prep for painting with epoxy...
