    yamaha tach reading 7000rpms at idle

    i have a 200 yamaha the tach was working fine last time i went out i went out and started the boat today and its reading 7000 rpms at idle and its idleing normal i checked the green wire from the tach to the stator and everything is fine :confused:

    1987 225 johnson sneezing at idle

    i have a 1987 225 Johnson vro that sneezes at idle. i change the plugs i had the carbs cleaned and change the reeds.i drained all fuel and replace it with fresh fuel. it only sneezes at idle anything over 1000rpm's it doesn't sneeze. :confused:
