    johnson 115 won't run over 3400 rpms

    I've got a 1993 johnson 115 crossflow which max's out at 3400 rpm +/_. Not a prop issue, engine just max's out. Compression is good. It has a fairly new stator, timer base, and coils.It has a VRO pump, but I plugged intake and run pre-mix. Doesn't appear to be fuel related. Motor starts and runs...

    wot timing for 83-84 johnson 140

    can't find any info on the wot timing for the 83-84 johnson 140. the manual references the decal on the engine only, which is long gone. any help is appreciated. thanks
