I would like to paint my outboard. I am not a painter but have read alot about it over the years. I understand that the first thing is cleaning it throughly before you do anything. Does anyone have some information on how to paint it properly?
I got a 1965 Johnson Seahorse 33HP. The cover is white and the lower portion is a gray looking color. However, it is really faded. I was wondering if anyone knew the paint code to this outboard to get is back original colors? Also would like to find the decals for the cover too. Thanks
