I am going to be installing a second amp and was wondering if I should run another set of wires all the way to the battery, or can I run both off the same power and ground wire? I beleive the wires are 8awg...
So, i was pushing the Bravo III out drive over to check my bellows... I had to bounce it over to get it to move, and heard a noise that sounded like something loose inside. Is there an anode behind the props that might have come loose?

My brother brought me another Alpha 1 lower unit that he had from his boat, that i bought from him. The main gears are stripped out. I want to rebuild it, so that i will have a spair.
Should i just replace the 2 main gears that are stripped out or buy the whole rebuild kit? Everything else...

Well... I went to drain the water out of the block on my 4.3. Got one out and guess what? Frickin stripped the allen head on the second one. :mad: Wish I would of changed them to brass before I put the motor back in the boat. I can't beleive how hard they are in there.
Now i have to try...
I have the old heads off of my Merc. 4.3 that had a cracked block. Are they worth anyting? I checked on Ebay and there was a couple on the for less than $100. Really don't want to waste my time on that little money.
I can't find anything on what i'm required to have in my boat, so that i won't get any tickets if i get pulled over.

I'm hearing a ticking or kind of a knocking from the front lower crank area. Sounds like its down by the fuel pump. I put a pipe on the fuel pump, and timing chain cover. Sounds like it coming from the timing chain cover. Knocks from 600rpm to around 900 rpm, then quits till about 1400 rpm...
