My motor on occasion develops a slight miss (sounds like the boat is running out of gas, although the tank-60 gallons-is 3/4 full. I emptied the tank completely last fall to ensure there is no water in the tank. Should I dump some dry gas in the tank? The local marina has instructed me not...

I bought a used boat with a 2001 Johnson Ocean Pro 115HP. When the motor is trimmed down sitting in the driveway, I have what looks like dirty oil leaking down both sides of the keel. Bad seal? Any feedback is much appreciated.
