    What do you pull your boat with?

    Tachometer at 2000

    I have a 196? 50HP merc and the tachometer needle does not drop under 2000 even when the boat is off. When I am at WOT it shows 5500 so I am not sure if it is 5500 or 3500. Can I calibrate this or?

    Hi, I just bought a 1971 gypsy 14 with a 50hp, and i would like to tow it with my 2002 ford escape 2.0L. The tow capacity on the truck is only 1000lb because it is a 4 cylinder. Do you think this boat is over 1000lb's? Thanks

    Fiberglass Hull repair

    Hi, I just bought a boat 1971 tri-hull MFG. The boat has had some really crappy repair done to the hull. Looks like they used bondo to fill a hole. I want to sand it all down and put a fiberglass patch over the whole repaired area. Will this work? will it bond to bondo? I know it will look...
