    1974 Starcraft 21’ Holiday

My break is only 2ft but I have a friend in a huge machine/fab shop with at least a 10ft break. He helped me with my custom windshield too.

    1974 Starcraft 21’ Holiday

I did a similar chine reinforcement with 1/8" but more like 8ft long. I made a removable plate to hold two bilge pumps with Pic in my thread

    Starcraft Holiday 18 make over

Easy, just remove everything that holds it down and used it for the pattern. 5052 .100" if memory serves. Original was probably. 062". Also it's over 4' wide so had to find larger sheet.

Shoestring Starcraft SS160 Resto-mod - let the long slow road begin

I prefer the no feedback helm units. Also not impressed with the xtreme systems number of turns from lock to lock. The cable has very little free play but docking can give your arms a work out. Look for a helm with the newer quick connect where the cable attaches.

Neither have I because it is free. Like I said the government is more interested in collecting tax. I have definitely paid tax on boats though

1978 Starcraft Supersport 16' OB Restoration

To bend thin aluminum to a gentle curve just put some pieces of wood on the floor and step on in until it fits. That hull corrosion looks bad in the pic. A patch with 5200 and solid rivets is a good repair in the right situation.

    1978 SS 16 restoration

It doesn't sound comfortable to drive like that. I'm 6'3" and I can get my legs under the last 3 boats consoles I rebuild. The smallest is my kids 14' Take your time to get the ergonomics right and it will make every drive better

    1978 SS 16 restoration

I would set the seat in and try your idea of steering wheel location before committing to anything. I picked up a 16ft to repair and my legs hardly fit around the console with the stock design. I spend lots of quality time sitting in my 18ft Holiday planning where to mount things and still...

    1978 SS 16 restoration

It would be strange to see a crack from only one side. Hard to say from the picture but from here it looks like a scratch. If so not likely to be a problem. Don't think I have owned a boat without a dent, scrape or scratch somewhere 🤔
