    I need help.I can't remove the rod cap from the crank .I need a torq socket.The best I could come up with is a quarter inch driv 11 thirty second socket.I don't have any torq's small enough and thin enough wall to get a good bite on the bolt.I have tried heat,napa,and snapon tools and mac tools...

    I have a 50hp evinrude 1986 E50TLCDE.I can't find a head new or used.Any sugestions.I had a piece of the piston let go.i'm hoping I can hone the cyl.But I still need the head.I found a place to get the pistons and rings right here at Iboats.If I can't get the head.I wonder if a machine shop can...

    motor hp

    I needed a carb kit for a 50 hp evinrude 1986.I went to the mariner to get the part.The counter person told me evinrude didn't make a 50 hp in that year.The number I have from the head is e50tlcde.The way I see it is a 1986.Am I wrong.

    evinrude lower unit

    I just purchased a 1986 50 hp evinrude.I'm changing the lower unit oil.I have no manual.My question is.Is this an electric shift.If it is I'm guesing I need omc oil.Is this correct.Thanks.rainmaker
