I needed a carb kit for a 50 hp evinrude 1986.I went to the mariner to get the part.The counter person told me evinrude didn't make a 50 hp in that year.The number I have from the head is e50tlcde.The way I see it is a 1986.Am I wrong.

Guess what? It is a 1986 50 horsepower.

thanks petty officer.I thought he was wrong but he should know more than me.Any way he sold me the wrong parts.But I was able to use some of them.But at any rate the motor runs great now.Thanks for the info.I put the info in a good place for future use.
