    What year is my 65 Hp Mercury outboard?

    The only thing I have is a serial # 3073084.<br />On the top it says of the motor it says 650 tunderboldt ignition.

    1971 seaswirl steering cable?

    I am A new boat owner and purchased a 1971 seaswirl with a 65hp mercury outboard. It's a very old boat and needs a new steering cable. I have no clue on what type of cable to use and where I can get one. the Places I have called said they have no info on the boat. Thanks for your help
