    anyone have luck with aftermarket v/p fuel pump assy?

    i need a new pump assembly but the 1500 dollar price tag for a v/p pump is ridiculous. this is the assembly with the high/low pump in the same assembly. the one for the mpi engine an bolts to the front of the engine. this boat already had 1 aftermarket pump that lasted 3 years.

    anyone seen this set up before for an alpha 1 gen II system

    i have this boat, 2000 searay w/ 5.0 engine, there is a tee and garden hose coming off it to the back of the transom. looks like a flush out or something like that. i cant see how this will keep the impeller from frying.

    smartcraft system, fuel level fault and no fuel gauge reading

    so this boat is really kicking the crap outta me. 1st the fuel system overhaul now i notice the fuel gauge is not moving. i dumped 25 gallons of gas in it and it has not budged. i cant find any info on how to run a diagnostic on the smartcraft system.
