    incorrect ignition hook up , now no spark

    put in new ignition switch night before fishing trip next day engine runs fine hit the spot and kill the motor after fishing for awhile tried to start engine and it wouldn't start! that night took plug out and didn't have any spark reg/rec in power pack is oozing. think i had the choke hooked up...

    i have a 1982 johnson 175 noticed oil on the ground under the prop took the prop off and noticed that there was about 4 ozs. of lu oil in the cavity but the seals around the prop shaft look dry what should i do

    sparkplug for 1982 johnson 175

    just bought a boat with a 1982 johnson 175 outboard went to change sparkplugs it had champion QL77JC4 plugs in it but champion reccomends QL16V for it. What should i do?
