    New fuel system, still not running

    I have been having problems with my 2000 Mercury 25hp tiller cutting out in mid throttle.No sputter, just instant kill. I replaced my entire fuel system, rebuilt carb, fuel pump, and primer system, new gas. Could it be a defective kill switch? Any help would be appreciated. Im stumped!!!

    link wire on fast idle lever

    I am going to be rebuilding my carb on my 2000 mercury 25 and I noticed my link wire is attached to the fast idle lever but does not seem to be attached to anything at the other end of the wire? Is this correct. I can not see any place to attach the wire to. Any help would be appreciated!
