    1984 Evinrude 115- VRO Pump

    We are having trouble getting the engine to start at all. We recently removed the VRO pump because we were told we do not need it and it was leaking. Does the VRO pump also act as the fuel pump? And if so, are there certain parts of the pump that we can remove and other parts we can't? Thanks
