    Replaced power pack Replaced regulator/rectifier Stator yellow & Yellow brown ohm out Can someone suggest a definitive test to check the stator on this motor (with expected values)? I thought I was supposed to have about 500 ohms across the stator input pins but looks like I have a lot less...

    Johnson 115hp model number is non existent??

    I have a 94 J115hp outboard and the plate on the motor says the model number is J115TXARC but can't find this model number anywhere. Serial # is 03627071. I know I am reading it correctly. What am I missing? Thanks....

    115 Johnson 115 Compression Advice

    I did a compression check on my J115HP today with the following results: dry/wet 120/122 120/128 135/140 122/140 I could not start it so should I be worried? Thanks

    Johnson 115 problems

    I have a 94 Johnson 115HP that didn't have a spark until I pulled the flywheel and cleaned up the stater. Now it sparks but gas (liquid) is coming out of the exhaust by the prop and it won't start. Help before I cause more damage.....thanks.
