    My 85 volvo 270 outdrive pops up when in reverse! As long as i don't give it throttle it'll stay down.

    Ran boat in salt water for the 1st time sat ran great 4 about 15 miles ; got in shallow water then it started overheating, spraying water out of the raw water cap!:confused:could sand of stopped up something on the discharge side?:eek:
