    1967 1100ss. Posted a while back with motor starting issues(+ battery cable vibrated off while going down lake ,motor wouldnt start again) ran some tests determined bad trigger. Ordered trigger #134-3736 come to find out motor has 2 piece rotor shaft and cap held on by 4 screws. Can I order...

    dead in th water

    we have a 1967 1100ss inline 6 merc and while running down the lake the battery terminal vibrated off. now the motor seems to only want to run if the key is held on. Is the ignition switch fried,or maybe the trigger?
