wrong trigger?

1967 1100ss. Posted a while back with motor starting issues(+ battery cable vibrated off while going down lake ,motor wouldnt start again) ran some tests determined bad trigger. Ordered trigger #134-3736 come to find out motor has 2 piece rotor shaft and cap held on by 4 screws. Can I order new one piece shaft and (round cap) or send back trigger and find a different one?

Call Clark or Shaun at CDI and ask if they have a kit to update that engine. If not you need to find a complete one piece thats bad and cover over as this will get you cap,rotor and housing.
