    exhaust bellows adhesive

    Can any one tell me if theres another adhesive that can be used ondrive shaft and exhaust bellows other than regular bellows adhesive? I don`t mind the price of buying the stuff just hate to drive 150 mile round trip to get it. Thanks

    Changing Bellows on a Mercruiser

    Can any one give me some useful tips on changing the bellows on a 1977 mercruiser?I`m changing all three and the shift cable and I don`t have the bellows spreaders that the bookssay you need. Thanks for any replies

    Shift cable on Mercruiser

    Can any one tell me how to remove the shift cable end on a 140 Mercruiser shft cable,the end next to the transom plate, the book says it has two set screws but the one I have has two little square pin looking things in it. Thanks for any replies.

    Fuel check valve

    I have a 1977 Glastron SSV 177 with a 140 Mercruiser ,does any one know if it has a fuel check valve in the line, seems to lose the prime on the fuel pump after sitting ,if it has ever had one I can`t find it and I have had the line off from the fuel pump to the tank. Thanks for any replies.

    Installing bottom seal in Mercruiser I drive shaft houseing

    Does any one know how deep the bottom seal in a mercruiser I drive shaft houseing suppose to be installed?It appears that the o ring on the shaft on the bottom half of the unit is pushing the rubber out of the seal, it had been installed flush with the bottom of the seal carrier.
