    1971 evenrude 18, lower cyl dead?

    I got the motor little while back it was fireing very weak on both cyls put in points and condensors and got hot fire on both plugs. it busted off but I didnt run it as it wasnt in drum. put it in a drum today and it runs off the top cyl only, took out plugs and tested fire again hot on both...

    1971 18hp evenrude cracked lower unit

    Long story guys but wont get into that. I got an 18hp evenrude that didnt run, got it firing and running but noticed it has a 2" split in the lower unit looks like it might have frozen before. Put it in forward and it did fine. Question: how do I seal that split so water dosnt get in the foot...
