    Ok I have a buddy that wants to upgrade my non running 4.3l omc with a 5.7l chevy engine. The boat is a 1986 Wellcraft 185 Elite. What changes to the drive will I have to make, and what problems do I face? Thanks.

    I have a 1986 Wellcraft Elite 195 with a 4.3l omc cobra. I want to put a 5.7l chevy engine in it. Can the drive handle it?
